Made From Faith was created from the vision of building a foundation for my grandchildren and their future, since the untimely & great loss of my oldest son.
Many of you who are local already know me and about this journey, from supporting my small brick and mortar shop over the last 13 years, but for those of you who do not know me, my name should have been Faith, which is fitting, since I tend to always put things in God’s hands and live my life through Faith!
I have been a crafting artist since my grade school years, tinkering around with different arts and craft projects and collecting supplies as I would come across them. When I went into business on May 20, 2011, I was able to keep my overhead costs low due to this and create almost 80% of my shops jewelry inventory, which showcased my own creativity and designs. I gradually moved forward with refinishing select furniture pieces that desperately needed a face-lift and that is when I found something that I never knew that I had…inner peace! I seem to always find that inner peace when I am making or re-creating something into something unique and beautiful, and it seems as though I have been called back to it, full circle. I will be putting my God given talents back to work once again, for this great cause that I am now embarking upon for my other children, my grandchildren and for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Inc. (specifically)
My son was brutally taken from us May of 2022 and since he can no longer provide for my two oldest grandchildren’s future, that is what triggered the vision and the goal of the Made From Faith foundation. This “Grammy” was guided through grief, prayer and faith to help assist my grandchildren with their future and that is the main goal for Made From Faith. Due to the fact that my grandchildren are currently age five and under, there will be investing that will be taking place, listing each grandchild, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Inc. (specifically) and my other children as beneficiaries of a specified percentage each of this investment payout, when the appropriate time arrives.
Made From Faith is currently a work in progress, as I am trying to liquidate an over abundance of inventory at my existing brick and mortar shop, in order to make room for and focus on the Made From Faith foundation and it’s goals. Products will be added to this website as I am able to get them made and/or photographed & uploaded, so I apologize in advance for currently having low stock categories.
In closing, I would like to thank each and every one of you who has shown me your love & support throughout this grief journey that I am still traveling on. Your love and support has helped me get through many of my toughest and darkest days and I just want to say thank you so much!
